Burias Campus Reaps Awards in Culture and Arts Festival

Capiz State University Burias Campus reaped various awards in the Intercampus Literary-Musical contest held on September 22 -25, 2015 at Capiz State University Main Campus, Roxas City. The said event was participated by the 10 campuses of Capiz State University (Burias, Pontevedra, Main, Dayao, Tapaz, Sigma, Dumarao, Sapian, Pilar, and Mambusao Poblacion). This affair endeavored to choose the best contestants who will represent the University in the upcoming PASUC VI Meet.

            CapSU Burias won gold in storytelling and extemporaneous speaking with its contestant Ms. Thea Lyn D. Salaya; instrumental guitar  playing with James Rock Navarra; and, one-act play with Mr. John King N. Layos,  Ms. Perly Bayquin,  Ms. Ancel Vigo, Ms. Ma. Adelyn Doroin,  Ms. Arlyn Legaspi,  and Ms. Louella Louise Cordero .  The Campus also bagged silver in poetry interpretation with Ms.  Ma. Adelyn Doroin; oration with Ms. Ashlie Mae Dalida; and, likha awit with Ma. Luz F. Lago. They also got bronze in folk dancing, essay writing, pagkukuwento, vocal solo kundiman and ethnic dancing.
